Personally I looked around for info on the most reliable SSDs rather than the fastest. OWC In-line Digital Thermal Sensor for iMac Late 2009 - Mid 2010 Hard Drive Upgrade. It worked for me, and it's TRIM compatible but you need to use TRIM Enabler or similar to turn it on. The performance difference (compared to stock 500GB HDD) was amazing. I put an Intel 330 series SSD in my mid-2010 MBP.
